Who we are
Sean Wittig LLC, doing business as Tether Business Solutions ("Tether," "we," "us," or "our"), operates tether-solutions.com. This policy explains how we handle personal information through our website, assessment, scheduling, and related business communications.
Our website is intended for business professionals. Client services are governed by separate agreements. When we handle information on a client’s behalf, the relevant client agreement and instructions also apply; this website policy does not replace those arrangements.
Information you provide
You may give us your name, email address, business name, scheduling details, assessment responses, or other information you choose to include when communicating with us. We also record requests for reports, marketing preferences, and information needed to honor those choices.
Please do not enter passwords, access credentials, payment-card details, health information, government identification numbers, or confidential personal information about others in the assessment or ordinary website inquiries. If a client engagement requires sensitive information, we will establish the appropriate arrangements separately.
Taking the assessment and requesting a report
You can complete the AI & Automation Opportunity Check and see a brief result on screen without subscribing to marketing emails or requesting a report by email.
Before you request an email: Your answers and optional context are held in temporary memory in your browser tab. Completing the assessment alone does not submit those answers to Tether. The assessment does not save them in cookies or persistent browser storage. Closing or reloading the page generally clears this working state.
When you request your report: The website sends your applicable assessment answers, optional context, name if provided, email address, optional business name, and information needed to validate and manage the request to our report service hosted on Vercel. That service prepares your personalized report and uses Resend to email it to you as a PDF attachment. Resend processes the recipient address, cover email, report attachment, and delivery information. The report includes a recap of your responses and any optional context included in it.
We use submitted report information to prepare and deliver the report, resolve delivery problems, and support relevant follow-up conversations about your results and business needs. Requesting a report does not subscribe you to Tether’s newsletter or automated marketing series.
The assessment applies predetermined rules to your responses. Its current report-generation process does not send your responses to a generative AI model or connect to your business systems.
When you request an emailed report, we also keep a copy of the report email and its PDF attachment in our Google Workspace business email. The copy includes the recipient address, email date, and report information described above. We use it for delivery support and relevant follow-up conversations about your results and business needs. We do not maintain a separate assessment database. The retention section below explains how these records are handled.
Optional Tether updates
If you choose to receive Tether updates, we send your name, email address, optional business name, and a record of your signup choice to Kit, our email marketing provider. That choice record includes the notice shown, when the signup was received, and its source. Your assessment answers and report are not included in this marketing signup.
Kit manages the subscription and sends our AI and automation email series and other updates you have chosen to receive. Taking the assessment, requesting a report, or booking a call does not by itself enroll you in that series.
Marketing emails may use a small image or tracked links to measure whether messages were opened or links were clicked. These measurements can be affected by email-provider privacy tools and automated security checks. Email measurement is separate from website analytics and is not controlled by the website’s cookie preferences.
You can unsubscribe through the link in a marketing email or contact info@tether-solutions.com. We may keep a limited record needed to honor your unsubscribe request. Unsubscribing does not prevent a reply to an inquiry, delivery of a report you request, or communications needed for an existing engagement.
Restarting the assessment or changing a choice in your browser does not cancel a subscription already submitted. Use the unsubscribe link or contact us to change an existing subscription.
Booking a call and contacting us
Our booking page offers an embedded Calendly scheduling tool. It loads only after you select “Allow Calendly and show times.” Loading the calendar connects your browser to Calendly and its service providers, which may process device, connection, and usage information and use cookies or similar technologies for scheduling, security, preferences, analytics, and marketing. You can also open Calendly in a separate tab.
When you book, Calendly processes the contact details, selected time, time zone, and answers you provide in its booking form. We receive the information needed to arrange and prepare for the conversation. Relevant appointment and communication details also pass through our connected Google Workspace calendar and email services.
The Tether website does not prefill Calendly with your assessment answers or report contact details. Calendly provides its own cookie choices, which are separate from Tether’s website analytics controls. See Calendly’s Privacy Notice for its own processing and controls.
If you email us, your email provider and our Google Workspace services handle that correspondence and any attachments you choose to send. Email links on the website open your email application; opening a link does not itself send a message.
Website operation and technical information
Vercel hosts the website and processes requests needed to deliver and protect it. Technical information can include IP addresses, requested pages or resources, request times, browser information, and records of errors or suspected abuse.
We use this information to operate, troubleshoot, and protect the website and its forms. The report and signup application code does not deliberately log submitted answers, report contents, or contact details. Hosting and service-provider operational records are separate from the application’s temporary processing.
Cookies and website analytics
Tether’s Google Analytics and Cookiebot integration is not currently activated. Tether does not currently load Google Analytics or advertising pixels on its own pages. The separate Calendly loading choice does not enable Tether analytics. Calendly and its service providers may use cookies or similar technologies once you choose to load the calendar; hosting/security features may also use these technologies.
The assessment’s working answers stay in temporary tab memory as described above. The Calendly loading choice also stays in page memory and resets when you reload or leave the page. “Unload calendar” stops the embedded service; it does not delete cookies already set by Calendly or undo information already transmitted. Calendly provides its own cookie settings for optional uses. You can also manage website storage through your browser; blocking technologies needed for a feature may affect its operation.
The Tether application does not currently change its behavior in response to browser “Do Not Track” signals. Requests to exercise applicable privacy rights can be sent to info@tether-solutions.com.
If we activate website analytics or other optional tracking, we will update this section to identify the purposes and working choices before that change takes effect.
How we disclose information
We disclose relevant information to providers supporting the activity you request:
| Provider | Role in this website |
|---|---|
| Vercel | Website hosting, request processing, report generation, and security. |
| Resend | Delivery of requested report emails, including the PDF attachment and delivery records. |
| Kit | Optional marketing subscriptions, consent and unsubscribe records, and marketing email delivery and measurement. |
| Calendly | The booking experience, loaded in-page after your choice or opened on Calendly’s website; appointment information and scheduling communications. |
| Google Workspace | Our business email, calendars, related correspondence, and internal copies of requested report emails and PDFs. |
These providers may also handle some information for their own operational, security, or legal purposes under their applicable terms and notices. A provider’s general privacy notice does not mean that every feature it offers is enabled on Tether’s site.
We may also disclose information to professional advisers where needed, to meet legal obligations or valid legal requests, to protect rights and security, in connection with a business transaction subject to appropriate protections, or when you direct us to do so.
How long we keep information
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide requested information, support relevant follow-up and business relationships, maintain appropriate business records, honor communication preferences, and meet legal obligations. The period depends on the type of information, its continuing relevance, the nature of our relationship with you, and applicable requirements.
- Unsubmitted assessment information: Kept in temporary browser-tab memory; it is not a saved Tether report record.
- Requested reports and delivery records: The report service processes the information needed for generation and delivery. We keep a copy of the requested email and report in our business email while needed for the purposes described in this policy. Our email providers maintain their own message and operational records under their retention arrangements. A report delivered to you remains in your email system until handled under your own settings.
- Conversations, inquiries, and appointments: Relevant information may remain in our business email, calendar, or other authorized business records while needed for the conversation or engagement and associated recordkeeping.
- Marketing subscriptions: We keep information needed to manage the subscription, communicate with you, and honor your preferences. Limited consent or suppression records may need to remain after marketing stops.
- Security and operational records: Retention depends on the provider, record type, and legitimate troubleshooting or security needs. Relevant information may be held longer for an unresolved incident or legal requirement.
When information we control is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it, subject to applicable retention requirements. Deleting a record from one system does not automatically remove copies from another provider, a backup, or the recipient’s inbox. We consider those copies when handling a request.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No website or method of transmitting or storing information can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and requests
Contact info@tether-solutions.com to ask about information we hold or request access, correction, or deletion. Depending on your location and the laws that apply, you may have additional rights, such as receiving a portable copy, withdrawing consent, objecting to certain processing, or appealing a response.
We may need information reasonably necessary to verify your identity or authority before fulfilling a request. We will explain applicable exceptions or further steps and respond as required by applicable law. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
You can choose not to request an emailed report or subscribe to updates. You can unsubscribe from marketing, use Calendly’s available cookie controls, and manage storage through your browser. Each choice applies to its corresponding activity; a marketing unsubscribe does not erase a report already delivered to your inbox.
International processing
Tether is based in the United States and currently directs its services to U.S. businesses. Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Privacy laws may differ between countries. Visiting the website does not by itself constitute consent to an international transfer.
Children
Our website is intended for business professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. Please contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can address it.
Third-party resources
Our Insights collection and other pages link to outside articles and services. Original-article links open separately. When you visit an outside site, its own terms and privacy practices apply. Our synopses and original editorial images do not make those publishers part of Tether.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our practices change. We will revise the effective date and provide additional notice or obtain consent when required.
